The whole ordering process through to delivery was efficient and friendly, with updates on the progress of the order.  They arrived and were perfect! 

    Unfortunately, whilst the lights were being installed they were badly marked (finger marks) I contacted Jeff and he very kindly offered to take them back, organising the entire collection and delivery process. I was looking for some time for bathroom pendant lights suitable for sloping ceilings, delighted to discover The Light Yard. I contacted them and was given helpful advice.     All went according to plan. Some weeks after installation a problem arose with one of the lights. The response from the company (Jeff) was quick and positive, a replacement sent, job done.     The bathroom pendant lights perfectly suit the character of their master bathroom design and the shades are a beautiful soft white when switched off and transform into a gorgeous warm inviting glow once they are switched on.     The Light Yard is only situated in the next town to our village and we were somewhat surprised we had not already heard about it. Having made an appointment, via Andrea, to visit the showroom we met Jeff and were even more impressed with the various styles. We showed Jeff some photos taken on a mobile of the hall /landing and found him very helpful in providing advice on what might best suit us, even suggesting a made to measure light for the landing.     Unfortunately, our contractors were running a few months behind schedule towards the end of last year, and despite the lights being available to them to install at the beginning of autumn, the wiring and PIRS to support the lights only went in just before Christmas. However, I am pleased to say we are now enjoying the Brik lights…and I can tell you that they are just superb! They give the perfect light to our step area, they are exactly what we wanted, and they are performing perfectly!

    All in all, I would say the choice of lighting, the custom options you had available (the marine grade steel, the more powerful LEDs, the 4000K colour temperature and the high CRI LEDs) were all exactly what we were looking for, and the finished product is just awesome! Overall, the purchase experience was very good, as was the support and follow up from yourself. Our contractors know we are inordinately fussy clients when we have come to specifying items on the client supply side of the project. Invariably we would over-spec and be exceedingly demanding on our choices.

    In the case of the Brik lights, you have delivered everything we demanded…and more, and in addition our architect and contractors have been blown away by the quality of the lights…and they are absolutely in love with them (we’ve passed on your details to them and I suspect they’ll be using them in future projects)! The company couldn’t have been more helpful, and I managed to fit in a visit to their very beautiful display room near Manchester where you can get a real idea of what your chosen fittings would look like in a garden setting (would highly recommend you visit if you are local). The designer in the showroom was super explaining what would look best and helping with final choices.

    The lights were of exceptional quality as expected, delivered on time and I had contact from the company on expected delivery dates and progress of the order throughout. Unusual and handmade they look wonderful in their new home and our landscaping project has lived up to expectations and more with these unique lights – uplighters for illuminating bamboo and path lights to mark out the pathway to the patio.

    These hand-crafted products represent excellent value for money and you will be getting unusual and eye-catching lights which have already drawn many favourable comments from our friends and family.     Product design drew me to the Light Yard and it’s always a gamble purchasing from pictures and without prior knowledge of a company’s product quality. For me, The Light Yard’s City Urban LED path lights are very well made and show as a high quality product.

    They provide the right amount of light, as I wanted highlight not light saturation, in a well-designed and well-made product. The electrician and landscape company also comment on how much they liked the lights! From discussing product to product delivery this was one of the most easy orders I’ve had for a very long time.

The look and finish of the lamps is just what we were after, and the cool white LEDs of our Konic Sort wall lights were the right choice for the outside space they cover. Compared to other options we considered, these were some of the most expensive but they look the part, have good fit and finish and look and feel tough enough to remain this way for years to come (time will tell).

    We were kept up to date on progress from receipt of order right through to delivery confirmation but expected nothing less given the great reviews we had checked online!

Jeff quickly determined the best way to light the piece, suggesting an LED lightbox which would show the glass to its best effect.

    Given that we had consulted many lighting 'experts' who had failed to suggest a solution, we were absolutely delighted that Jeff was able to help.

    From our initial enquiry, to the final fitting of the light box, we were consulted and kept informed at every stage. To say we are pleased with the end result is an understatement! Although we had some problems with the contractor who we used to install the lightbox (Jeff had provided clear and comprehensive instructions which he chose to ignore) Jeff took ownership of the problem and arranged for an expert to come and install it correctly. Jeff also came to our home to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction and, just as importantly, that the installation met his own high standards. We really cannot praise Jeff highly enough - he found a solution to our lighting problem, when no-one else could help. He kept us informed constantly throughout the whole process, and ensured that the problems we had with our originally contracted installer were overcome.

I like the look of the light when switch off but when it is on the light is unique. Having seen it now up close I can appreciate the workmanship involved in manufacturing.
